On Friday, we gathered at Patio for an open discussion about the impact of the same-sex partnership law, effective from January 1, 2025, on the everyday lives of rainbow families.

We talked about what has really changed and what remains only on paper – how parenthood recognition works in practice, how schools, hospitals or authorities are responding, and what obstacles still remain. There were also powerful stories from the first months of the law's operation, the joy and frustration that the new legislation brought with it. At the same time, we reminded ourselves that equal marriage for all is still ahead of us – and why it is important to continue striving for it.

We thank everyone who came to share their experiences and questions. It was an evening full of empathy, understanding and efforts to move things forward. Thank you.
