On the first Saturday in June, the Brno Pride parade passed through Brno, which was both a celebration and a protest. This year saw our biggest turnout yet, with around 3,000 people coming together. Some just wanted to be able to hold hands in safety, others wanted to stand up for trans rights and marriage equality, or voice their dissent against the current political system. In any case, the parade went smoothly, safely, and made its way back to Zelný trh. It was amazing once again, and it felt so good to see everyone together. 🫂
Sunday afternoon, May 31st, 2026, was the third year of the Brno Pride Run. Under the trees in Anthropos Park and along Svratka, runners gathered united by a common goal - to point out that equality is still not a given.

Brno Pride Week 2026 will connect the community, institutions and the city. This year's edition returns to what is most important: mutual support and the search for dialogue.
Brno Pride Week returns to Brno from May 31 to June 6. This year's edition, with the motto "There is always something that connects us", responds to the current situation of queer people in the Czech Republic and around the world and emphasizes the importance of safe space, respect, humanity and community cohesion.
We believe that the world we live in can be more open, safe and respectful – for each and every one of us. That is why we would like to present you with a collection for the Brno Pride Week 2026 festival. This community and educational week provides a space to share experiences, meet, learn and celebrate diversity in our city and society as a whole.
Friday the 13th is etched into the collective imagination as a day of bad luck and fear. On Friday the 13th of February 2026, we gathered at Fléda to show that the only thing we refused to fear was our own identity and love. Prejudice and oppression were the only real curses, and they were the ones we were determined to break together.
