We believe that the world we live in can be more open, safe and respectful – for each and every one of us. That is why we would like to present you with a collection for the Brno Pride Week 2026 festival. This community and educational week provides a space to share experiences, meet, learn and celebrate diversity in our city and society as a whole.
Friday the 13th is etched into the collective imagination as a day of bad luck and fear. On Friday the 13th of February 2026, we gathered at Fléda to show that the only thing we refused to fear was our own identity and love. Prejudice and oppression were the only real curses, and they were the ones we were determined to break together.
Friday the 13th is etched into the collective imagination as a day of bad luck and fear. This year, we’re reclaiming it as a celebration of love. On Friday the 13th of February 2026, we gather at Fléda to show that the only thing we refuse to fear is our own identity and love. Prejudice and oppression are the only real curses and they’re the ones we’re determined to break together.
From 1:30 PM, we opened Pride Park at Zelný trh – a meeting place before the parade, where it was possible to make your own banner, have something to eat or drink, browse the stands of organizations and companies, or just hang out with friends. For their expressions of support before the parade, we would like to thank: 🇪🇸 H.E. Maria Perez Sanchez‑Laulhe (Ambassador of Spain), 🇧🇪 H.E. Jurgen Van Meirvenne (Ambassador of Belgium) and 🏴☠️ Marek Lahoda (chairman of the South Moravian Pirates).
We ended the entire Pride Week together with this exceptional party! The evening with the subtitle Be your own Deity was hosted by the divine Daina Divad from Cabaret Des Péchés, and then we danced until the morning to the sounds of DJ sets by Kisten and Lunara, who also celebrated her birthday here. 🎂 There was drag queen Ivory Divine, karaoke, a creative workshop, and an inspiring workshop on queer sexuality by Anna Wim.
On Friday, we gathered at Patio for an open discussion about the impact of the same-sex partnership law, effective from January 1, 2025, on the everyday lives of rainbow families.
Friday evening at Hus na provázku was devoted to a topic that is still rarely talked about – the experiences of queer people at the intersection of nationality or ethnicity.
