Returning to the places you hoped to leave behind Přerov, the early 2000s. A thirteen-year-old boy in a world where closeness brings anxiety rather than support. An absent father, a silent mother, and the growing realization of being "different" in an environment fueled by latent racism and homophobia.
Crises, fear, and the collapse of the old order. Today, Singer’s apocalyptic vision feels chillingly relevant. A story from the past that speaks directly to our present.
