Why is it important to celebrate Pride in the first place? Join us for an expert panel discussion on bias-motivated crimes (hate crimes) and the legal protection of LGBT+ people. Legal professionals from various fields — from advocacy and constitutional law to academia — will share their insights.

Among the speakers will be Petra Naskosová, attorney and head of the legal team at In IUSTITIA, an organization specializing in representing victims of hate crimes. Also joining the discussion is Monika Hanych, a legal analyst at the Constitutional Court, focusing on freedom of speech online. They’ll be joined by an academic guest who specializes in human rights and the protection of LGBT+ minorities.

The panel will be moderated by a lawyer from the Lexicon collective, who is also a member of the LGBT+ community.
