We ended the entire Pride Week together with this exceptional party! The evening with the subtitle Be your own Deity was hosted by the divine Daina Divad from Cabaret Des Péchés, and then we danced until the morning to the sounds of DJ sets by Kisten and Lunara, who also celebrated her birthday here. 🎂 There was drag queen Ivory Divine, karaoke, a creative workshop, and an inspiring workshop on queer sexuality by Anna Wim.

On Thursday evening, we gathered at the Institut paměti národa for a powerful and thought-provoking discussion on the media and political framing of queer identities in both the Czech Republic and the United States. The debate, moderated by Lucie Čejková, brought together three brilliant experts – Iveta Jansová, Michal Pitoňák, and Charles M. Elavsky – who shared deep insights, lived realities, and strategies for resistance.

From 1:30 PM, we opened Pride Park at Zelný trh – a meeting place before the parade, where it was possible to make your own banner, have something to eat or drink, browse the stands of organizations and companies, or just hang out with friends. For their expressions of support before the parade, we would like to thank: 🇪🇸 H.E. Maria Perez Sanchez‑Laulhe (Ambassador of Spain), 🇧🇪 H.E. Jurgen Van Meirvenne (Ambassador of Belgium) and 🏴‍☠️ Marek Lahoda (chairman of the South Moravian Pirates).
