Gabe and Andy, a young gay couple, want to adopt a child. Their relationship has already been tested in many ways, but their desire to build a home together remains strong. Gabe works as a drag queen, Andy carries some heavy memories of his own – but none of that makes them any less ready to be loving parents.

The British TV series Lost Boys and Fairies, written by Welsh playwright Daf James, offers an honest and deeply moving look at the road to parenthood. It doesn't shy away from difficult emotions, but it's full of hope and tenderness. With a focus on authenticity and nuance, the series goes far beyond clichés – this is one of the most heartfelt takes on adoption you'll see on screen.

As part of Brno Pride Week 2025, we’ll be screening the first two episodes of this standout show, praised as one of the UK’s best recent TV works.

The screening is organized in collaboration with the Serial Killer festival, which brings the best of European TV to Brno, supports new voices and perspectives, and celebrates storytelling that reflects who we are today.

🎟️ The venue has limited capacity, but you can reserve your spot in advance. You can make a reservation for free.
