Gabe and Andy, a young gay couple, want to adopt a child. Their relationship has already been tested in many ways, but their desire to build a home together remains strong. Gabe works as a drag queen, Andy carries some heavy memories of his own – but none of that makes them any less ready to be loving parents.
The British TV series Lost Boys and Fairies, written by Welsh playwright Daf James, offers an honest and deeply moving look at the road to parenthood. It doesn't shy away from difficult emotions, but it's full of hope and tenderness. The screening is organized in collaboration with the Serial Killer festival, which brings the best of European TV to Brno, supports new voices and perspectives, and celebrates storytelling that reflects who we are today.
