In a time when global certainties are shaking, fear, anxiety, and faint-heartedness run rampant. The best thing to do would be to slam the apartment door shut, leave the lights off, and somehow endure it all. But what if someone has just turned on the light in the window opposite yours? Shared pain connects us—can a shared belief in a better day after tomorrow do the same? "In the darkest of nights, remember the sun," Jiří Mahen once urged. A production rehabilitating the word "hope"; a production lying in wait for the very moment the first ray of light pierces the darkness.

This time, the script will be written by you and your stories. We will gather them throughout the season, and at its end, shape them into an evening celebrating your courage never to give up. Led by director Jan Mikulášek, we won’t leave ourselves out either—we, too, will dare to share the harrowing moments of our lives, because simply, #everybodyhurts.
