On the first Saturday in June, the Brno Pride parade passed through Brno, which was both a celebration and a protest. This year saw our biggest turnout yet, with around 3,000 people coming together. Some just wanted to be able to hold hands in safety, others wanted to stand up for trans rights and marriage equality, or voice their dissent against the current political system. In any case, the parade went smoothly, safely, and made its way back to Zelný trh. It was amazing once again, and it felt so good to see everyone together. 🫂
